Mission Statement
This site is dedicated to the passage of the federal DREAM Act (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act), a bipartisan legislation that would permit a select group of undocumented students conditional legal status and eventual citizenship granted that they meet the following requirements:


American Latino Voter Education Fund

The American Voter Education Fund, (“AVEF”), is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation devoted to empowering minority communities through the power of voting.

National Immigration Law Center

Our mission is to protect and promote the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants and their family members.  NILC staff specialize in immigration law and the employment and public benefits rights of immigrants. We conduct policy analysis and impact litigation and provide publications, technical advice, and trainings to a broad constituency of legal aid agencies, community groups, and pro bono attorneys.


Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF)

MALDEF is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and promote the civil rights of the more than 40 million Latinos living in the United States.  Making sure that there are no obstacles preventing this diverse community from realizing its dreams, MALDEF works to secure the rights of Latinos, primarily in the areas of employment, education, immigrants' rights, political access and public resource equity.

MALDEF's goals are:

1. To foster sound public policies, laws, and programs that safeguard the rights of Latinos; and
2. To expand the opportunities for Latinos to participate fully in society and to make a positive contribution toward its well-being.

AB 540 Online: Center for the Migrant Education and Labor Student Resources

A website dedicated specifically to AB 540 Students, which are those that are exempt from paying out-of state tuition. You can find information on scholarships, new affecting undocumented students, and more!

National Council of La Raza

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) – the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States – works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans.

Migration Policy Institute

The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank in Washington, DC dedicated to the study of the movement of people worldwide.
